Spec's Skillet Chicken with Mushroom Herb Sauce

Chicken Mushrooms Cream of Mushroom soup green onions cream cheese Sherry Skillet

4 to 6 boneless cken breast havles or about 1 1/2 points of chicken tenders

1 bunch sliced en onions (about 6 to 8 green onions)
8 ounces sliced hrooms
2 tablespoons ter
1/2 cup cken broth
1 1 8 ounce container of on and chive cream chee
1 can cream of cken with herbs soup
2 tablespoons dry rry (optional)

Wash chicken and pat dry. If desired, cut chicken into 2-inch strips. Sprinkle with Salt and Pepper. In a large skillet melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add chicken and cook, stirring, for about 4 minutes. Add the mushrooms and green onions and continue cooking until mushrooms are tender and chicken is done. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. Cook until hot and bubbly. Serve over cooked rice or pasta.
