Homemade Salisbury Steak

Meat Soup Eggs Ground Beef American

1 can Golden hroom Soup
1.5 lb Lean und Beef
1/2 c Italian Style ad Crumbs or cracker crumbs
1/2 t t
1/4 t per
1 sm on finely chopped
1 whole slightly beaten
1/3 c Water

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 of the soup with the remaining ingredients except water, mix well. Shape into 6 patties and arrange in a single layer in a 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Skim off the fat. In another small bowl, combine the remaining soup and water and spoon it over the patties. Return to oven and bake an additional 10 minutes. If desired, garnish with mushroom slices. TIP: To prepare in a skillet, brown the meat patties in 1 T hot oil, drain the excess fat. Add soup and water and simmer covered 10-15 minutes. 1 10 1/2 ounce can French on soup undiluted,divided
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
1 small on chopped fine
1/2 teaspoon t
1 pinch per
1 1/2 pounds und beef
1 tablespoon -purpose flour
3/4 cup Beef th
1/2 cup chup
1 teaspoon cestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared tard
6 cups hot cooked noodles
chopped fresh sley

1. In a large bowl, beat egg. 2. Stir in 1/3 cup of soup, bread crumbs salt and pepper. 2. Saute onion in small amount of olive oil. 3. Add beef and onion to bread crumb mixture; mix gently. 4. Shape into six oval patties. 5. Brown in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. 6. Remove and set aside; discard drippings. 7. In the skillet, combine flour and water until smooth; add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and remaining soup; bring to a boil. 8. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. 9. Return patties to skillet. 10. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. 11. Serve patties and gravy over noodles. 12. Garnish with parsley if desired. 13. Serves 6. 14. To freeze, freeze the meat patties in the gravy. 15. Don't freeze with the noodles, (cook the noodles fresh when serving). 16. Use a plastic zipper freezer bag and squeeze out all the excess air before sealing. 17. Or freeze in plastic containers, filled to within 1/2 inch of the top. 18. To serve, defrost then reheat in the microwave until hot.
