Fall Bake Main Dish Chicken American
4 cken breast boneless skinless
4 slices deli
4 slices ss cheese
1/4 cup all purpose ur
1 large beaten
1 cup dry ad crumbs
3 tablespoons ter

1 1/4 cups k heated

Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Place chicken breast in heavy freezer back. Pound with flat side of mallet to 1/4 inch thickness. Layer ham, then cheese on each breast, leaving 1/4 inch margin on all sides. Tuck in long sides slightly. Roll up and secure with toothpicks. Place 1/4 cup flour, egg and bread crumbs in individual shallow bowls, Roll chicken in flour, then egg, then bread crumbs. In large ovenproof skillet over medium-high, heat 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil. Add rolls and cook, turning so that all sides are well browned, about 4 minutes. Transfer to oven proof dish, cover and bake until chicken is cooked through, about 7 minutes. Remove toothpicks. Meanwhile, in saucepan over medium heat, melt remaining butter. Add remaining flour and cook. Stirring constantly, until bubbly, about 2 minutes. Add hot milk, bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook, 2-3 minutes more, until sauce thickens. Pour over chicken Serve with mashed potatoes and broccoli
