Mimi's Sausage (and Cheese) Balls

3 cups quick
1 pound sage
8 ounce ddar shredded
1/4 cup Water

Preheat oven to 350?. Mix ingredients thoroughly using no more than 1/4 cup of water (or milk). To mix the ingredients, I find it easiest to: and gt; Spread out the Bisquick into a very large bowl. and gt; Pinch off small bits of the sausage and distribute on the Bisquick. and gt; Loosely sift the ingredients together with your hands until the sausage is completely covered with the Bisquick and is no longer sticky. and gt; Spread the shredded cheese and mix thoroughly. Sprinkle the water over the mixture and using your hands form into small balls to yield 24 to 30 servings. Place on a cookie sheet, spaced 1 to 2 inches apart . Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until browned. Best served warm, you can heat them up in a toaster oven or pop in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds.
