BLACKBERRY COBBLER

2 1/2 cups fresh or frozen (thawed and drained) ckberries
1 cup ar
1 cup -purpose flour
2 teaspoons ing powder
1/2 teaspoon t
1 cup k
1/2 cup ter melted

In medium bowl, stir together blackberries and sugar. Let stand about 20 minutes or until fruit syrup forms. Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Stir in melted butter until blended. Spread in ungreased 8-inch square pan. Spoon blackberry mixture over batter. Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until dough rises and is golden.

1/4 cup Soft butter or garine
1/2 cup ar
1 cup All purpose ur unsifted
2 teaspoon ing powder
3/23 teaspoon t
1/2 cup k
1 can (1-lb) it, cut in small
ar to taste (for topping)

1. Cream butter and sugar until smooth and well blended. 2. Sift the flour with baking powder and salt. 3. Add flour mixture a little at a time alternately with the milk, beating just until the thick batter is smooth. 4. Spread the batter evenly in a greased 9-inch square baking pan (it will rise to the top while baking). 5. Pour berries or fruit and their liquid over batter. Sprinkle with sugar to taste. Oh - I dont sift either - just stir well.

Warm Almond Blackberry Cakes

3 3/4 ounces onds

1/2 cup unsalted ter room temperature
1 teaspoon illa extract

1 1/2 cups fresh ckberries
2 tablespoons ar

Preheat oven to 400. Cover a baking sheet with foil and set aside. Pulse almonds in food processor with 2 tablespoons of sugar until finely ground. Add flour and salt and pulse just until combined. Set aside. Beat butter 6 tablespoons of sugar in mixer at high speed until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, then eggs, beating well after each. Reduce speed and add almond / flour mixture and beat just until combined. Divide batter among gratin dishes. Place blackberries on top and press lightly into batter, then sprinkle tops lightly with sugar. Place on baking sheet and bake until firm and golden brown with slightly darker edges, approximately 20 minutes. Allow to cook on rack for about 10 minutes. Serve warm.

1/3 cup Fuzzy navel concentrate frozen
3/4 cup Water
1 scoop Whole Nectar Ultimate Soy tein Smoothie Mix (5 tablespoons)
1 ana
1/2 cup ckberries frozen and unsweetened
1 1/2 cups Ice (up to 1-3/4 cups)

Place all ingredients into Vita-Mix container in order listed. Secure lid. Select Variable #1, turn to ON, and quickly increase speed to #10. Switch to HIGH. Run about 20 seconds until smooth. Use tamper, if necessary, to help circulate ingredients.

1 head Red leaf tuce
1 bag y spinach
Chinese noodles
Slivered onds toasted
Bleu Cheese crumbled
ckberries
3 tablespoon ar
1 tablespoon Sweet on chopped
1/2 teaspoon Dry tard
1/4 teaspoon t
1/2 cup ey
1/4 cup wine vinegar
1 cup ola Oil

Pulse first 6 ingredients in a blender 2-3 times until blended. With blender running, pour oil through food chute in a slow steady stream; process until smooth. Add dressing to lettuce, spinach, noodles, almonds, cheese and berries. Toss well.
