Yorkshire Pudding Popovers

This recipe for popovers or Yorkshire pudding contains no shortening. It has flour, eggs and milk, well beaten and baked in a muffin pans or in a square dish.

110 g Plain ur
2 medium s
300 ml Full k
2 tablespoons of ve oil or Beef Dripping
1 Large pinch of t

Throw the flour in a bowl and add salt. Add the Eggs and gently whisk into the flour. Gradually add the Milk. Fridge the mixture for half an hour. Put half teaspoon of oil into a muffin or bun tin and place in a preheated (220 degrees) oven for ten minutes. Remove batter from fridge and whisk. Quicly pour into the hot wells of the tin. Put in top of oven for 20 minutes turning the tray after ten.

4 oz Plain ur
1 Pinch t
1/2 pint k
1 f Dripping

Sift Flour into Bowl, add salt and eggs and whisk until smooth adding milk a little at a time when finished leave to rest in fridge. Pre-heat oven to 240c. Place baking tin with dripping into oven leave until smoking add batter mix and replace in oven immediately. Cook on middle shelf for 25 minutes or until crispy, do not open oven for at least 20 minutes.
