Cheesecake Bars

Brown sugar cream cheese vanilla dessert appetizer breakfast Cream Cheese American

1/3 cup butter tened
1/3 cup packed wn sugar
1/3 cup chopped nuts
1 cup sifted -purpose flour
1/4 cup white ar
8 ounces am cheese
1 tablespoon on juice
2 tablespoons k
1
1/2 teaspoon illa extract

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F(175 degrees C). 2. To make Pastry: Cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add in the flour and chopped nuts and stir until mixture becomes crumbly. Set aside 1/4 cup to use as a topping. 3. Press pastry mixture into 8-inch square pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Let cool on rack. 4. To make Filling: Beat together the white sugar, and cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the egg, milk, lemon juice, and vanilla and mix well. Spread filling mixture over baked crust. Sprinkle reserved mixture on as a topping. 5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool on wire rack and refrigerate. Serve with fruit.

Caramel Ribbon Bars

Bar Cookies Butter Milk

1 pk Yellow cake mix; 2-layer
1/2 c Chopped nuts
5 1/3 oz Evaporated k
1/4 c Butter or garine; melted
1/2 c isweet chocolate chips;
1/2 c Caramel topping

In a mixing bowl combine dry cake mix and walnuts. Stir in evaporated milk and the melted butter or margarine. Spread about half of the cake mixture in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. If desired, sprinkle chocolate pieces over hot crust. Drizzle with caramel topping. Drop remaining cake mixture by teaspoons over all. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes more. Cool on wire rack. While still warm, loosen sides and cut into bars. NOTES : You also can make these rich, chewy cookies with chocolate cake mix... Chocolate Peanut Butter Sweet Bars Holiday Dessert

1 bag semi-sweet colate chips
1 bag terscotch chips
1 cup nut butter
2 cups dered sugar
1/2 cup sweet and densed milk
1/4 cup melted ter
1/2 tsp maple flavoring
2 cups dry-roasted peanuts

Put 9x13 inch glass pan in the refrigerator. In double broiler, melt together chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Add peanut butter and mix until melted and creamy. Poor HALF of the mixture in glass pan and put pan back in fridge until top of mixture is dull. In separate bowl, combine powdered sugar, sweet and condensed milk, melted butter, and maple extract. Poor mixture on top of chocolate in pan. Sprinkle peanuts on top, then poor remainder of chocolate over peanuts. Refrigerate for about an hour. Pull pan out of refrigerator and let sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes. Cut into 1 inch squares and let sit at room temperature for another 20 minutes before removing bars from pan. ENJOY!
