1 cup uncooked orzo (rice-shaped ta)
1.25 cup cken broth (low sodium fat free)
1.25 cup water
1.25 cup grated fresh mesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh il
0.25 teaspoon t
0.25 teaspoon fresh und pepper
4 teaspoons e nuts toasted
1. Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add orzo, and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in broth and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer until liquid is absorbed and orzo is done (about 15 minutes). 2. Remove orzo from heat; stir in cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with pine nuts. Serve immediately.
