2 cups All purpose ur
1/2 teaspoon ing soda
1/2 teaspoon t
3/4 cup Unsalted ter
1 cup wn sugar packed
1/2 cup White ar
1 tablespoon illa extract
1
1 yolk
2 cups isweet chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 325? Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugars until well blended. Beat in vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light and creamy. Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips by hand. Drop dough onto cookie sheets (approx 1/4 cup), about 3 inches apart. Bake for 15-17 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for a couple minutes before moving to wire cooling rack. I place a tea towel over the wire racks and put the cookies on top of the towel. The cookies seem to stay softer this way.
