Preheat oven to 400. Cover a baking sheet with foil and set aside. Pulse almonds in food processor with 2 tablespoons of sugar until finely ground. Add flour and salt and pulse just until combined. Set aside. Beat butter 6 tablespoons of sugar in mixer at high speed until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, then eggs, beating well after each. Reduce speed and add almond / flour mixture and beat just until combined. Divide batter among gratin dishes. Place blackberries on top and press lightly into batter, then sprinkle tops lightly with sugar. Place on baking sheet and bake until firm and golden brown with slightly darker edges, approximately 20 minutes. Allow to cook on rack for about 10 minutes. Serve warm.

Warm taco Appetizer

1 lb Extra lean und beef
1 cn (16 oz) refried ns
1 pk o seasoning
1 Jar (24 oz) Pace picante
1/4 c Water
2 c Shredded sharp ddar
16 oz r cream
Brown ground beef, crumbling as fine as possible; drain and set aside. Wipe pan clean, and over medium heat, mix refried beans, taco seasoning, 1/2 of the Pace picante sauce, and the water, stirring nearly constantly. When mixed and heated gently, add reserved ground beef. Remove from heat. Spread mixture into two 9 inch pie pans. Spread sour cream, then remaining 1/2 Pace picante sauce, and then cheese over mixture. Bake, uncovered, for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees. Serve with tortilla chips. (Can refrigerate or freeze one or both pans; but thaw completely if frozen before baking). This recipe has NEVER failed to draw accolades from everyone!!! 1 pkg Yellow Cake Mix (2 layer size)
2 cups k cold
1 1/4 cups Water
2 pkg on Flav Ins Pudding (4 serv size ea)
1/3 cup ar
2 tablespoons Confectioners ar (powdered)
PREHEAT oven to 350d. Prepare cake batter as directed on pkg. Pour into greased 9"X13" baking dish; set aside. POUR milk and water into lg bowl. Add dry pudding mixes and granulated sugar. Beat with wire whisk 2 min or until well blended. Pour over batter. Place baking dish on baking sheet to catch any sauce that might bubble over sides of dish as dessert bakes. BAKE 55 min to 1 hr or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 min (sauce will thicken slightly as it cools). Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Spoon into serving dishes to serve warm. Store leftovers in refrigerator. SUBSTITUTE: Prepare as directed, using Jell-O Vanilla Flavor Instanding Pudding, if desired.
