Sloppy Joe Calzones

Kid Friendly Fry Ground Beef Main Dish American

1 pound und beef
1 cup Green per chopped
1 cup on chopped
1 can ato paste (6 oz)
1 can ck beans (15 oz) rinsed and drained
1/2 cup chup
1/2 cup Water
1/4 teaspoon t
1 teaspoon Dried gano
1 cup ddar cheese shredded
2 tubes Crescent rolls (8 oz each)

PREP TIME: 20 min BAKE: 15 min In a large skillet, cook the onion, pepper and beef over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the beans, tomato paste, water, ketchup, salt and oregano. Seperate the crescent dough into four rectangles; seal perforations. Spoon a fourth of the meat mixture onto half of each rectangle; sprinkle with cheese. Fold dough over filling; pinch edges to seal. Cut slits in tops. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Kid Friendly Saute Sandwich olive oil ground beef tomato soup ketchup cider vinegar brown sugar mustard Salt Main Dish Ground Beef American Worcestershire sauce beef

1 tablespoon ve oil
2 pounds lean und beef (I use ground round or sirloin)
1 can (10 3/4 oz) ato soup
1/2 cup chup
2 tablespoon cestershire sauce
2 tablespoon er vinegar
2 tablespoon wn sugar
1 tablespoon prepared yellow tard
Salt and fresh ground ck pepper, to taste

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil and meat to the pan. Spread the meat around the pan and break it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until meat is still just slightly pink (not browned), about 3 minutes. Add the tomato soup (undiluted), ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and mustard; stirring until well combined. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened, about 8 to 10 minutes. Adjust seasonings. Spoon meat mixture onto hamburger buns, buttered and toasted or plain, and serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

1 Sweet pepper cored
seeded and chopped
1 ts etable oil
1 Clove lic finely chopped

2/3 c chup
1/3 c Red-wine egar
2 tb Dark-wn sugar
1 tb cestershire sauce
1 pk 10 oz frozen n kernels
thawed
6 Sourdough rolls split and
sted

Prep: 10 minutes Cook: about 20 minutes Cost: $ 1.39 each for 6 servings 1) Cook beef, onion and sweet pepper in oil in large nonstick skillet 6 minutes. Add garlic, paprika and cayenne; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. 2) Stir tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar and Worcestershire into skillet; cook 10 minutes. Add corn; cook 5 minutes. 1 medium on diced
2 cups chup
4 tablespoons tard
2 tablespoons egar
2 tablespoons ar
1 pinch t
8 burger buns

In a large frying pan brown 2 lbs of hamburger meat then drain well; Add one small to medium finely diced onion, ketchup (Heinz brand is our favorite), yellow mustard, vinegar, sugar and a good dash of salt; Mix together well and allow to simmer for about one hour. Spoon onto a hamburger bun and serve warm with potato chips or your favorite picnic side dishes. Happy Eating!
